Viewing Your Debt Plan

  • Debt Order: Debts are automatically sorted in chronological order by their start date.

  • Filtering Options:

    • Switch between weekly, monthly and yearly views.

    • Filter by tags (using “is any of” or “is all of” options) and debt type (fixed-rate, variable rate, etc.).

  • Debt Details:

    • Click on a debt title to open a side panel showing your chosen options and the applied interest rate (especially for variable rates with hedging instruments).

    • Add notes or attach PDF documents directly from the side panel.

Exporting Your Debt Plan

  • Step-by-Step Export:

    1. In your Debt Management view, click on the Options button.

    2. Select Export to download an XLSX file containing your debt plan data.

  • Export Specifics:

    • All applied filters (e.g., monthly/yearly view, tags, type) will be included in the export.

    • The Excel file will be downloaded in your app’s language.

Monitoring Key Indicators

  • Net Debt Calculation:

    • Net Debt = Gross Debt (total outstanding capital of all debts) minus Cash (the consolidated cash balance from your cashflow plan).

  • Currency Considerations:

    • Cash and Net Debt are displayed only when all debts use the same currency as the cashflow forecast.

    • For multi-currency environments, totals are organized by currency and conversion occurs only in the cashflow forecast side panel.

💡 Tips

  • Use debt filters for a focused view on specific debt types or time periods.

  • For a customized calculation of outflows in custom dashboards, create a new dataset filtered on both outflow and a “dummy” inflow category to generate a negative value.

FAQ ❓

How do I filter my debt plan?

You can switch between weekly, monthly and yearly views and apply tag filters using “is any of” (for any matching tag) or “is all of” (to match all selected tags). Filtering by type (fixed-rate, variable rate, etc.) is also available for precise views.

How do I export the debt plan as an Excel file?

Click on the Options button in the debt plan view and select Export. The exported XLSX file will reflect any filters you have applied and will download in your current app language.

How is the Net Debt indicator computed?

Net Debt is calculated as your Gross Debt (the total outstanding capital of all debts) minus your consolidated cash balance from the cashflow plan. This indicator is key for understanding your financial health.

What should I do if I need to analyze outflows in my custom dashboard?

In custom dashboards, outflows are treated as absolute values. To compute “inflow minus outflow”, create a new dataset by filtering both the outflow category and an additional “zero” inflow category. This workaround will display the negative value you need.
