Accessing the Debt Management Feature 🔑
To start using the Debt Management feature:
Activation
Ensure the feature is activated and included in your subscription for your organization.
Availability
Once activated, the feature is available for all entities and consolidations within your organization.
User Rights:
View the consolidation debt plan if you have a consolidation user.
Edit or delete existing debts only if you have access to the entity's Cashflow.
Add debts to entities you have access to.
Understanding Your Debt Plan 📊
The Debt Plan provides a comprehensive view of all your debts:
Debt Order: Debts are displayed chronologically based on their start dates. The earliest starting debt appears first.
Filters: Customize your view by applying filters:
Monthly or Yearly View: Switch between detailed monthly data or an annual overview.
Tags: Filter debts using tags:
Is any of: Shows debts matching at least one selected tag.
Is all of: Shows debts matching all selected tags.
Type: Filter by debt type (e.g., fixed-rate, variable-rate).
Adding Notes and Attachments 📝
Keep important information at your fingertips:
Add Notes: Hover over a debt title and click the 📝 icon to add notes.
View Details: Click on a debt title to open a side panel with a summary of debt options and the rate used for calculations.
Attachments: Upload or download PDF documents related to your debts directly from the side panel.
Utilizing the Net Debt Table 💰
Stay informed about your net debt position:
Net Debt Calculation: Net Debt = Gross Debt (total outstanding capital) minus Cash (from your cash flow plan).
It can be followed at your entity level and in the "all my companies" view
The Net Debt table displays values only if all debts are in the same currency as the cash flow forecast.
Exporting Your Debt Plan 📥
Easily share or analyze your debt data outside Agicap:
Export Steps:
Click on Options in the Debt Plan view.
Select Export to download your debt data as an Excel file.
Features:
Works for both single-entity and consolidation views.
The export respects your current language settings.
Applied filters (e.g., view type, tags, debt types) are reflected in the export.
Visualizing and Exporting the Amortization Schedule 📆
Dive deeper into your debt repayments:
View Schedule: At step 3, Amortization Schedule, see the detailed repayment plan for a debt.
Editable Fields: Columns calculated by Agicap are greyed out and cannot be edited directly.
Export and Import:
Download the amortization schedule as an Excel file.
Modify the file (excluding greyed-out columns) and re-import it to update the debt in Agicap.
Managing Debts in Multiple Currencies 🌍
Handle international debts with ease:
Adding Debts: You can add debts in any ISO currency. The default suggestion is your company's currency.
Totals: Capital, interest, and total repayments are grouped by currency without conversion.
When the Sync with the cashflow plan is activated:
Instalments in original currencies are converted to the cash flow plan currency when synced.
In the cash flow plan side panel, view the split of forecasts by capital and interest for each currency.
Custom Dashboards:
Create separate datasets or graphs for debts in different currencies.
Display proper currency symbols when datasets are independent.
Consolidation View: If each entity's debts are in the same currency as their cash flow plan, net debt and cash are displayed properly.

How do I activate the Debt Management feature?
You can activate the Debt Management feature from the Organization BackOffice. Once activated, it becomes available for all entities and consolidations within your organization.
Can I edit debts in the consolidation view?
Yes, but only if you are a user with access to both the consolidation and the specific entities' Cashflow. Otherwise, you can view the consolidation debt plan but cannot edit debts.
How do I export only specific debts?
Use the Filters to narrow down the debts by tags, types, or date range. The export will respect these filters and include only the debts currently displayed.
What happens if I have debts in different currencies?
Debts are grouped by their original currency. Totals are calculated separately for each currency without conversion. When syncing with the cash flow plan, instalments are converted to the cash flow plan's currency.
Can I modify the amortization schedule?
Yes, you can download the amortization schedule as an Excel file, make modifications (excluding greyed-out columns), and re-import it into Agicap to update the debt.
