Setting Up Dashboard Items

Follow these steps to create your chart, counter, or table:

  1. Choose the Type of Item
Decide whether you want to create a Chart, Counter, or Table based on the information you wish to display.

  2. Name Your Item
Give a custom name to your item using the text field at the top of the screen. Don't forget to do this, or you won't be able to save your item.

  3. (For Charts) Select the Chart Type
If you're creating a chart, pick the chart type that best fits your data: Line, Bar, Pie, or Stacked Bar.

  4. Select Data to Display

    • Data Selection: Choose the type of data you want to visualize. Options include various financial metrics, and if the debt module is enabled, debt-related data will also be available.

    • Aggregation Type: Select how the data should be aggregated. Note that not all aggregation options are available for all data types.

    • You can reorder data sets using the drag-and-drop feature.

  5. Set the Date Range

    • Determine the period for your analysis:

      • Fixed Period: Specify start and end dates.

      • Sliding Period: Select a relative period (e.g., "4 last weeks") and choose whether to include the current period. For example:

        • Toggle on: Includes weeks W-5 to current week W.

        • Toggle off: Includes weeks W-6 to W-1.

        • Optionally, you can add a comparison to the past (available only for charts).

  6. Group By (Charts and Tables Only)
Choose how to group your data, which will determine what appears on the x-axis (or as sectors in a pie chart). Grouping options can include time periods, categories, or other relevant groupings.

Additional Options for Tables and Counters

Tables: Segmentation of Bank Accounts

If you want to split data by bank accounts in your table:

  • Select all the bank accounts you wish to include.

  • Choose between:

    • Aggregated (default): Sums the values into one line.

    • Segmentation: Splits each bank account into individual lines.

Tables: Style a Line

You can customize the appearance of each line in your table:

  • Rename Data Sets: Change the display name of the data set.

  • Apply Colors: Select from available colors to highlight lines.

  • Text Styling: Apply bold or italic styles to text.

Note: Styling will be retained when exporting the table to Excel.

Counters: Data Formatting

Customize the display of your counters:

  • Decimals Accuracy: Set the number of decimal places (between 0 and 4 after the comma).

  • Units: Add a unit of measurement (e.g., €, %, etc.) that will appear after the number.

Item Options

For each dashboard item, you have several options:

  • Export
Export the item to an .xlsx (Excel) file.

  • Edit
Access the edition page for the given item.

  • Duplicate
Create a copy of the item with the same settings. The new item will have "[COPY]" appended to its title and will open in edit mode.

  • Move
Move the item to another custom dashboard within the same entity. The item will be added to the bottom of the selected dashboard.

  • Delete
Permanently delete the item. Caution: This action cannot be undone.

💡 Tips

  • Formatting Numbers: To set global decimal accuracy and data display units (thousands, millions), adjust the settings at the custom dashboard level.

  • Data Reordering: Use drag-and-drop to rearrange data sets for better visualization.

  • Avoid Special Characters: When adding units in counters, avoid using special characters that may not display correctly.
