Steps to Export Your Category Tree

Follow these steps to export the category tree of an entity:

  1. Access the Export Page: Click on the three lines ☰ located in the top right corner of the page and then on "Export my data".

  2. In the Export type panel, choose Categories.

  3. Select Export Type: In the Export type menu, pick Categories.

  4. Choose Categories to Export: Decide whether to export:

    • Cash inflow categories

    • Cash outflow categories

    • Both cash inflow and cash outflow categories

  5. Download the File: Click on the Export button to download an Excel file containing your category tree.

The exported Excel file can be edited and reimported into other entities, making it easy to replicate your category structure.
