Validate Remittances from the Mobile App 📱

You can validate remittances directly from the mobile app! When a remittance requires validation, you will receive an email notification prompting you to take action.

Understanding Validation Rules

If at least one validation rule has been set up a validation step is required along with the signature to complete the EBICS payment process.

Step-by-Step Guide to Validating Remittances

  1. Open the Agicap app on your mobile device or log in to your account on the web.

  2. Navigate to the Payments section.

  3. Locate the remittance that requires validation.

  4. Click on Validate to proceed.

    • If you have both validation and signature rights, the first step is to validate the remittance. After validation, it will be marked as verified, and you can proceed to sign it.

    • If you only have validation rights, the remittance will await signature from a user with signing rights after you've validated it.

Signing Before Validation

In certain scenarios, remittances can be signed before they're validated:

  • If the signer doesn't have the right to validate remittances, they can choose to sign it first. The remittance will be marked as signed but won't be sent to the bank until it's validated by a user with validation rights.

  • Alternatively, the signer can wait for validation from another user before signing. Once validated, the remittance will be marked as verified, ready for signature.

Viewing Payment History 📜

On the Sent to the bank page, you can consult the history of actions related to a remittance:

  • Who validated the remittance and when

  • Who signed and countersigned, along with timestamps

To access this:

  1. Go to the Sent to the bank section.

  2. Select the remittance you're interested in.

  3. Expand the details to view the full action history.

💡 Tips

  • Ensure your email address is up to date to receive validation requests promptly.

  • Set up appropriate validation rules to match your company's authorization policies.

  • Remember that a remittance will only be sent to the bank after both validation and signature steps are completed.

Q&A ❓
