Refreshing your computations in Agicap ensures that your cash flow projections and key performance indicators are up-to-date and accurate.

Updated this week

Why refresh Computations?

Agicap does not automatically update formula-based forecasts and KPIs. Manually refreshing computations ensures that any changes to your data or formulas are reflected in your cash flow plan.

How to refresh Computations?

Option 1: Use the 🔄 Refresh Computation Button

  1. Go to your Treasury module: navigate to the Cashflow Plan.

  2. Click the 🔄 Refresh Computation Button: This button is located at the top right of your Cashflow Plan.

  3. Wait for the Process to Complete: Agicap will recalculate all forecasts, VAT, and KPIs.

Option 2: After Creating or Editing a Formula

  • For Formula-Based Forecasts:

    • After creating or editing a forecast formula, click Validate.

    • This refreshes all calculations, not just the one you edited.

  • For Formula-Based KPIs:

    • After creating or editing a KPI formula, click Validate.

    • This does not trigger any calculations. You still need to use the 🔄 Refresh Computation button.

💡 Tips

  • Regular Updates: Refresh computations regularly to maintain accurate forecasts and KPIs.

  • Monitor Processing Time: If refreshing takes too long, adjust your settings or data as mentioned above.

Q&A ❓

Can I refresh computations for a specific time frame?

Yes, by adjusting the Display Period settings, you control the range of offsets (time periods) that are recalculated during a refresh.

Why doesn't validating a KPI formula refresh its calculation?

Unlike forecast formulas, validating a KPI formula does not trigger recalculations. You need to click the 🔄 Refresh Computation button to update KPI values.
