Understanding Forecast Export

Forecast export in Agicap enables you to download your cashflow forecasts as an xlsx file. This is useful for backing up your data, performing offline analysis, or editing the forecast outside of Agicap.

Step-by-Step Guide to Exporting Your Forecast

Follow these simple steps to export your forecast:

  1. Click on the ⚙️ Gear icon located in the top right-hand corner of the Agicap app.

  2. Select Export my data from the dropdown menu.

  3. On the export page, choose Forecast (raw data) as the export option.

  4. Select your preferred Export Type:

    • Simple: Exports a complete forecast for the entire entity.

    • By account: Exports the forecast data segmented by bank accounts.

  5. Click on the Export my data button.

  6. Your forecast will be downloaded as an Excel file, which you can save or edit as needed.

Choosing the Right Export Type

When exporting your forecast, you have two export types to choose from:

  • Simple: This option provides a comprehensive export of your forecast data for the entire entity. It's ideal when you need an overall view or backup of your cashflow projections.

  • By account: This option exports your forecast data segmented by each bank account connected to your entity. Use this when you need detailed forecasts per account or when managing cashflow across multiple accounts.

  • After exporting, you can manually edit the forecast in Excel and re-import it into Agicap if necessary.
