When Can You Use Flash Forecast?
The ⚡ Flash Forecast button is available when:
Cells are at offset 0.
You're at category levels where you can manually define a forecast.
You're using monthly forecast display and input frequency.
How to Apply Flash Forecast
To apply the Flash Forecast:
Navigate to the category or cell where you want to apply the forecast.
Click on the ⚡ Flash Forecast button.
Confirm the action if prompted.
This will generate a forecast based on the average of your last 3 months and apply it to the next 12 months.
How to Refresh a Flash Forecast
If you need to refresh your Flash Forecast due to new data:
Click on the Refresh computation (forecast + KPI) button.
This ensures your forecast reflects the most recent data.
What Happens If You Already Have a Forecast for This Category?
If a forecast already exists for the category:
A pop-up will ask for your confirmation before overwriting the existing forecast.
Click Confirm to proceed.
How to Delete Flash Forecast Values
To remove the Flash Forecast values from a category:
Open the side panel on the right.
Click on the 🗑️ Delete icon to remove the forecast.
