💡 Tips
Placeholder Accounts: Expected transactions created manually or by import can be assigned to placeholder accounts until you assign them to the correct bank account.
Impact on Auto-Categorization: Changing the transaction title affects how the Pre-categorization algorithm and Auto Categorization Rules process the transaction.
Manual vs. Synchronized Transactions: Some editing capabilities are limited based on whether the transaction is manual or synchronized from an integration.
FAQ ❓
Can I edit the amount of a synchronized transaction?
No, you can only edit the amount of paid transactions on manual accounts or expected transactions created manually or by import. Synchronized transactions' amounts cannot be edited.
What happens if I change the title of a transaction?
When you change a transaction's title, it updates how the Pre-categorization algorithm and Auto Categorization Rules process that transaction. The original title cannot be retrieved in Agicap, so ensure the new title is accurate.
Can I assign an expected transaction to a different bank account?
Yes, you can assign or change the bank account for any expected transaction. This helps keep your cashflow projections accurate by linking transactions to the correct accounts.
