Understanding Completion Rate Percentage Tags

The completion rate percentage shows how close you are to achieving your forecast with your registered transactions.

Percentage Computation

For standard setups where your forecast frequency matches the display frequency and forecast is set at the consolidated level, the calculation is:

Completion Rate (%) = (1 - (Gap to Forecast / Forecast)) × 100

Where:

  • Forecast is the forecasted amount for a category in a given period.

  • Gap to Forecast is the difference between the forecast and the sum of paid and expected transactions.

    • Calculated as: Forecast - Sum of Transactions (paid and expected)

    • The Gap to Forecast is always ≥ 0.

Example:

  • Forecast: €1,000

  • Transactions (Paid + Expected): €800

  • Gap to Forecast: €1,000 - €800 = €200

  • Completion Rate: (1 - (200 / 1,000)) × 100 = 80%

Q&A ❓

Why isn't the completion rate percentage showing for some categories?

  • Possible Reasons:

    • No forecast defined for that category.

    • Forecast value is zero.

    • Comparison feature is disabled.

How does aggregation affect the completion rate?

  • When changing the display frequency, offsets are grouped (e.g., days into weeks, weeks into months).

  • Each offset is independent, and the computation considers each separately.

  • Aggregated forecasts may not proportionally reflect individual offsets if frequencies differ.

Can I see completion rates for individual bank accounts?

  • Yes, but only if the forecast is set at the account level.

  • Calculation:

    • Only includes transactions and forecasts from bank accounts where a forecast is defined.

    • Accounts without a forecast are excluded from the calculation.
