You have learned:

Store different versions of my budgets

💡 Do you do different versions of your forecasts regularly, but don't want to lose the different versions?

To store the different versions of your budgets as time goes by, it's a good idea to get into this habit every time you import: freeze the scenario.

To do this:

  1. Go to P&L conversion

  2. Import and convert your projected income statement into a cash flow forecast. In our example, we're importing the 08/30/2023 version.

  3. Once converted, return to the cash flow plan and click on Main scenario

  4. Then click on '...' and then on Create a frozen copy

  5. Once the frozen copy has been created, you need to rename it

  6. To do this, click on the '...' next to the frozen copy, then modify the name

  7. We advise you to give it the name of the import date. In our example, 'Forecast 08302023'.

You've created your first frozen copy! But now what do you do, the next time you import your P&L?

  1. Go back to P&L conversion

  2. Click on import new and choose the new version of your forecast. In our example 09/04/23.

  3. Agicap will give you the possibility to change the payment delay parameters and choose the scenario

  4. Here, if you simply wish to update to the new version, click on update.

  5. Once the import is complete, click on display cash forecast.

You can now compare the current version with the previous one! Here in our example 09/04/23 with 08/30/23.

To do this:

  1. Click on Main scenario

  2. Then click on the eye next to the previously created frozen scenario

  3. Visualize the impact of your new version on cash flow

💡 You'll need to get into the habit of freezing the scenario for each import if you want to be able to make these comparisons.
