Your signature certificate is a file that is needed by your bank in order to authenticate during payment execution.

Where to find your certificate ?

This file was typically generated during the initialisation of your ebics contracts in Agicap. If you don't have a copy of this file, you should get in touch with the person in your company that performed the contract initialisation and ask for a copy of the certificate.

Where to store your certificate ?

We recommande to keep it in a safe, but accessible place. If you need to carry the certificate on a USB drive, make sure to have a copy stored safely somewhere else.

What to do if the certificate is lost ?

In this case, you have no other option but to ask your bank to revoke your ebics contract certificate and perform the initialisation again. Here are the steps in order to achieve this :

  1. Go to Agicap Payments > Settings > Ebics contracts

  2. In the contract detail, click on "Restart activation"

  3. Get in touch with your bank's telematic service and ask for the immediate revocation of the E-user from your ebics contract.

  4. Once the bank confirms the revocation, you can activate your contract again in Agicap and generate a new certificate.

  5. Sign the initialisation letters and send them to your bank

  6. Once the bank has confirmed, you are back on track !
