We know that the definition of a forecast is the result of a collaborative work and/or the use of third party analysis tools, and that it is therefore often more relevant to use Google Sheet.

Until now you could import data via an Excel file, now importing via Google Sheet is also available in a few steps! ✨

1️⃣ Download the template to create your spreadsheet

  • On the Agicap cashflow plan, select the Options menu and then click on the button: 📥 Import Forecast.

  • In the popup that opens in the middle of the screen, click on the first link to download your custom template in Excel format.

2️⃣ Complete your spreadsheet on Google Sheets.

  • Next, open a new Google Sheets spreadsheet and then on the File tab, click Import to import the previously downloaded forecast template onto your new spreadsheet.

  • Enter your forecast directly onto the spreadsheet 🎉

3️⃣ Import your forecast into Agicap

  • Once your spreadsheet is ready, click the Share button in the top right corner of Google Sheets to copy the share link.

  • Back in Agicap, on the forecast import popup, paste the link from the Google Sheets spreadsheet and click Connect with Google.

  • Select the Google account in which the spreadsheet was created and allow Agicap access to your spreadsheets.

  • View the result of the import into Agicap 🎉

💡 You can have as many tabs as you have scenarios: one tab per scenario.

💡 Be sure to check the View all your Google Sheets box, if this box appears. Please know that Agicap respects your privacy and only uses the spreadsheets you paste the share link for.

💡 Good to know: If there are any inconsistencies between the Google Sheet and your cash flow plan, then you will get a detailed error report. This will allow you to see where the errors are and make any necessary adjustments to your Google Sheet.

💡💡 Good to know: If you want to disconnect Google and Agicap, you can do so very easily from your Google account.

💡💡💡 Very good to know: This option must first be enabled on your account for you to use it. ✅
