Have you hedged against exchange rate fluctuations with your bank and therefore have fixed rates to apply over defined periods?
Do you need to standardise the exchange rates used between your different tools?
Good news, you can define it in Agicap. 💱
You can define a custom exchange rate for each of your currencies at the group level or at the entity level for your organization.
In order to do so, you can do in any one of your entities:
click on the top right menu
go to the Advanced settings
Select Exchange rate menu
Choosing the different currencies to customise
Click on add a rate on the top right corner
Then select the right currencies to customise the rates
Choosing the right frequency
Click on Options in the top right corner
Then select the right frequency for which you need to personalise your rates
Setup the rates
Setup your rates manually
If you enter a value at the currency level it will be applied to all the entities in your organization
If you enter a value at the entity level it will be applied only for this entity
If you made a mistake and need to cancel everything just delete the value at the currency level
Import your rates to go even faster
If you have numerous data to customise importing will be faster.
To do that, click on Options on the top right of your screen > import
You need to download the template to ensure your format is understandable by Agicap.
Here it is:
⚠️ : you have any important info in column G
If you leave a rate empty the by default rates provided by Agicap will apply
The date must correspond to the first day of the month if you chose monthly or quarterly
If you leave the entity column empty the value will be imported at the organization level and not at the entity level (similar to what you can do manually)
