When your bank is connected to Agicap, your bank transactions are automatically uploaded. In certain cases you may need to "split" a transaction.

This allows you to split a transaction into several amounts and assign different categories to these. 💪

To do this, simply go to your Bank tab in the blue banner at the top of your screen, then click on the name of the transaction you want to split.

On the right side of the screen, in Actions, click on Split.

A window will open in which you can now split the transaction. You can add as many lines as you want. Enter a title, a category and an amount for each of them.

Important: you can only validate the split when this information is filled in for each line and the difference between the initial amount and the split amount is equal to 0.

💡 Good to know: When you split a transaction, it will be displayed in different segments in the Bank tab. If you want to keep track of the transaction and/or the original amount, write it down in the Note field 😉

💡💡 Good to know: if the global transaction refers to several committed invoices, it is possible to make a multiple reconciliation. No need to split the bank transaction, it is done automatically. 💪
