Understanding User Roles in Consolidations
Members: Can access a consolidation.
Admin Members: Can manage the consolidation (edit or delete it, manage user rights, grant admin rights).
Organization Admins: Have oversight of all consolidations in the organization but are not members by default.
Creating a Consolidation
Any user in an organization with the consolidation feature activated can create a consolidation using entities they are a member of with access to the Cashflow product.
Changing Consolidation Parameters
Only admins of a consolidation can change its parameters, such as editing entities or cashflow settings (currencies, categories, scenarios). For consolidations with alternative scenarios, only the main admin (the creator) can make edits.
Managing Users on Consolidations
Inviting Users
All members can invite existing users to a consolidation if they have invite rights on all entities within the consolidation.
Granting Admin Rights
Admins can grant admin rights to other permanent members of the consolidation, even if they are not members of all entities within the consolidation.
Organization Admins
Can view and manage all consolidations in the organization.
Can add themselves as users and admins to any consolidation.
Can invite users to consolidations and manage user rights.
Must ensure there is always at least one admin in a consolidation.
Modifying Transactions
To modify a transaction within a consolidation, you must be a member of the transaction's entity.
